What could have Meyer and Ohio State have said to Brenton Cox to make him not even consider UGA now when we have so much momentum in recruiting and football in general

I think it was more about what UGA fans said to him when he committed to OSU.

I've never cared much about the recruits who act like "some fan on the internet hurt my feelings". They're either looking for an excuse to insult some school, or they don't understand how the anonymous internet works.

I think he went before the season started, or shortly after it started. But, if I were Urban Meyer, I would tell them that OSU has been to the playoffs 2 out of the three years it has existed, and Georgia has not been a major player for a National Championship in quite awhile.
Now that the season has started and we re doing so well, I would think several commits that bought into that line of thinking will be rethinking their commitments to other teams, and reconsidering us.
Just a guess, but that is what i would have told them.

Is there a list of recruits somewhere that UGA has a high degree of probability of getting a commitment from before this class is finished? I'm sure someone is keeping a rolling list in their head. I don't have the time to keep up with everything lately and was just wondering.
