Never played until this year or not long at all. Too damn big

From Australia. Picked up Football 2 years ago, and as Americus said, hadn't actually played in a live game until this year. He's a massive human, but is a project no matter how you slice it.

shite we could put him on the line by himself and he can just stand there. Nobody is moving that mountain

So things apparently have taken a huge turn in the KJ recruiting saga. Per Rusty this morning
quote:
The more and more I call on this prospect, it looks like the KJ Henry deal is coming down to UGA and Virginia Tech. He is set to take his official to VT this weekend. He will not make his final decision until December 20th at his school, but you can bet one school will know ahead of time what is going on. This one is starting to get interesting

The phrasing here will add fuel to the fire that we are finally paying recruits

I just keep looking at the numbers and have no idea how the staff manages who gets a spot and who gets left out.

I’m on the same page as you. I also don’t want to be a program that tells kids to look elsewhere unless it’s a somewhat mutual decision.
Not sure exactly how we’re going to end this class, but KJ Henry is a guy you find space for.

I don't mind this as long as the kid has plenty of time to find another school. Kids leave programs hanging all the time. It works both ways.

It sucks but not sure that's realistic if winning is priority #1.

Yep, if you're going to consistently recruit at an elite level you're going to have to hurt some feelings. No real way around it.

Surprising so soon considering he didn't show up this weekend

Really hope we get Anderson.

Rumors are that he re-commits this week. Wednesday is a date I've seen thrown out there.

BulldawgBaptist is a member on 247, and he seems to be legit. Even Rusty acknowledged that he is pretty connected. Anyway, I believe he created a thread that 10/19 was going to be a good day and many connected AA to that message. For whatever reason, the 247 team nuked his thread. Interesting to see that happen. I know the 247 team does everything they can to protect recruits so they don't steal their moment.

Thursday is the day I'd seen thrown out as well... should be interesting. Hope it's good news for the good guys.

Well AA may commit on the 19th since he wears #19....some recruits seem to love picking a certain date (i.e. Mom's b-day)...might as well pick your favorite number
