looking at the new composite rankings, there is a very legit chance that we nab 7 of the top 50 players. Have we ever come close to doing that? I know we've had years where we get 2 or 3 of the top 20ish but 7/50 seems like it'd have to be better than we've ever done in that regard.

Did you guys read the article saying Fromm's throwing hand was all fugged up at the opening from running a trolling motor all night gigging frogs a few night before? Makes sense why he had trouble day two.

Not 2017 related, but anyone know how legit Clemson's shot is with Trevor Lawrence. They really seem to have come on strong.
It looked like he was a UGA lock for some time, but from what I've read it's now closer to 50/50.

Clemson is for sure in play. probably like 55/45 UGA imo

Clemson is a real threat if you ask me. I'd say 50/50 if you read his last interview. I'll try to find it l, but basically he says that the type of offensive system doesn't matter to him and that he believes he can run a spread offense regardless of the fact that he isn't the most mobile qb.

Alright, now that we've completed our day at SEC Media Days, the next big thing coming up is Camp Kirby (probably has a different name, but I'm unaware of it) this weekend. Obviously we talked about how they eliminated Dawg-Night, which is probably for the best since it sounds like it was starting to get watered-down and players were unable to get many reps.
What do we expect from this? Who all do we know is visiting? Only guy I remember really hearing about was Tray Bishop, and due to his status, I'd imagine a handful of the current commits (IE Lecounte, Poole, Dixon, Fromm, etc) will be in attendance to help these boys see the finer things in Athens. I thought I read Jeremiah Holloman might be going, but not sure.

I feel like Sentell has been as plugged in as anyone on TL. He has us a "dawg collar" ahead, so trying to turn that into percentages, maybe a 1-5% edge to UGA, but they are definitely in it. TL's comments on OL recruits at UGA v. WR recruits at Clemson would lead me to believe that he's keeping tabs on both programs pretty closely. One would hope that he sees more value in the quality of protection and how much that can make up for any real/perceived WR talent differential.

I wonder the same. I like what I've seen of him but it was interesting that he didn't really "camp" much this summer that I saw. Very little buzz around him after committing. At the time, most were saying he would have a great summer.

Could be either. If Webb and Holloman commit to us (And many think we will get both) it would really be a good looking group, and would leave him very little playing time. Looks like we are shooting for 4 receivers this year, and with Blount and Landers committed also it would be a matter of numbers.
