I think we will finish #2. Ohio State is signing a relatively small class, from what I understand.
I also don't think we will get Solomon. I did at one point, but seem to have lost momentum with him. There will be a surprise player or two, also.

Idk about others but me personally...once he decommitted from UM and started showing us some more love I was on board and thought we had a really good shot at him. Lately for whatever reason that seems to have cooled and it feels like he likes UM/bama more at the moment.
Granted, I think many folks could essentially say the same thing about Wilson and we see how that turned it. Still though, incredible fortune like today has been the exception rather than the rule lately so I won't get my hopes up. There's a small contingent on other boards that are still feeling confident that he's ours, but who knows. Even with Wilson, you could follow the info (we got his last visit, his HS coaches came here for the AU game without him, he started bonding with our commits, etc) to kinda put the pieces together...I don't think I've seen anything out of solomon's camp in a while.
I guess what I'm ultimately trying to say is...I don't have a clue!

I think a lot of people are cautiously optimistic. I know his mother absolutely loves UGA and Athens, but at the end of the day it makes everyone a little uneasy when Saban is zeroing in on a prospect that we need.

Personally? Not confident.
But we're talking about a kid from Leesburg and we have his mom on our side. All I know is I feel a lot better with Rocker and Kirby going up against Saban and Co than I would have Richt

One slight silver lining, unlike if we had lost on Wilson, is that we are DEEP and YOUNG at DL to the point where it's not as big of a deal to lose AS. Granted he's extremely good so obviously you want him, but just saying. Other than TT and Atkins, the next like 7 best DL we have are all underclassmen.
