Nauta was recently quoted that Jacobs decision had no bearing on where he would go. That being said, most believe Nauta is a Dawg.....Rusty even said Dawg in a question about where Nauta ends up.

While I imagine it's true that Nauta says Eason's decision is immaterial, in fairness, Jake's lot was cast for the Dawgs a year and a half ago, so it's been a foregone conclusion, save the last 2 weeks.

Nauta announcing after spending a week with our best recruiters (Big Ben, Eason, Julian) makes me feel pretty good, especially if he is on the fence going into that week.

The only reason I don't feel peachy about mecole is because of his comments about pruitt leaving. Nauta looks like he's in the bag. If we can get robinson, brown, allen, and maybe one of those 2 stud LBs man we could have something special.
I know it's material and doesn't really matter, but dammit I want that #1 ranked class.

The better the players the better the chance a good coach can get the most out of them. So give us the #1 class and lets see how they pan out..i think it'd be pretty special.

I don't think it's as much up in the air for Nauta as folks make it sound. I think he's a Dawg.

was just fiddling around with the 247 class calculator.
Right now eason is at 99.7 grade. Our next highest current commit is rochester at 97. If we get nauta, brown, and robertson, ALL 3 will be higher ranked than rochester.
That's incredible, we very well could end up with 3 guys who would all be ranked higher than our currently 2nd highest rated recruit.
