For reference, Winthrop's only other loss was 8 points to a good NC State team.
Their wins aren't anything special, but Winthrop is a decent team.
We've got ten days off now then play Tech at home. Really need to break this losing streak against them. Hope the Steg is rocking.

absolutely. I think it'll probably be a near sellout so the crowd should be into it.
From what little casual reading I've done, it looks like tech might actually have their best team in a few years. Should be tough to contend with in the front court so hopefully our bigs can step up saturday.
This will probably be the only game I can make it to this year, I'll be throwing down millers beforehand if anyone wants to meet up.

Looking at the ticket purchasing page on Georgiadogs.com it looks like there are around a thousand unsold tickets.
I think Stegeman will be pretty close to full by Saturday, but not a complete sellout.

I had no idea that the students were on break now. Dang. I was hoping that this being our first Saturday home game would have a pretty good crowd.

The student section has been pretty full every game I've been to so far. Everyone has elbow room but it's not "patchy" if that makes sense. I think I've only missed the Winthrop game. The other half is what seems to have a hard time filling up. Hopefully the Steg starts rocking come SEC play.

Dawgs are a two point favorite. I know home court matters, but I'm a little surprised that we're favored.

we are actually a 1.5 point underdog which means on a neutral court they would probably be favored by 4.5 points or so. Hope it changes today but so far this year they have looked like the better team.
