I would venture that the Recruiting dude from Washington might hint to Lupoi, since they have history, but that is nothing more than wild-arse speculation.

They were not there at the same time. Connection was he worked at Bama. Most are wishing for Tosh, but Tucker seems more likely.

Y'all keep throwing out their names and I'm telling you that neither are right yet you ignore it.

Is this all about you saying that CNS has forbidden CKS from hiring "on-field" coaches? CKS is a big boy and can make the hires he wants, plus how do we know Mel Tucker will even be retained as both Pruitt and Saban specialize in coaching DBs and that's Tucker's position group.

People keep throwing out their names because they make the most sense.

The entire defensive staff has been named except for the DC. It would stand to reason that the DC has been hired but hasn't been named due to some other obligation. That leaves Bama, Clemson, and the NFL. Kirby has limited contacts in the NFL, so that doesn't seem likely. Clemson isn't a scheme fit. So that leaves Bama, which would mean either Lupoi or Tucker.

That's why people keep throwing their names out.

Okay, well it made sense to keep BMac and Pruitt as they were great recruiters and CJP finally got our defense headed in the right direction but neither of those worked out...so there goes that logic.

But that's fine, I'm done with the rant and when he hires his DC you'll see I was right.

except it didn't, because new coaches pretty much always want their own staff.

Do you watch football at all? Like anything other than middle school or high school.

Yes. Name me a situation where a new coach kept a large portion of a fired coach's staff.
