Anyone think Pruitt/Rocker might try to get Marques Ford in now that UT told him to kick rocks? 4* DE...could be good depth if we have the spot available

Doubt it. I think we're pretty solid at the olb position and we're still pursuing Key.

Young Andrew Butcher counting his lucky stars he enrolled early imo. Ford apparently had an awesome camp circuit.

I saw it as well and had mentioned it in here. I hope he gets a shot somewhere as I think he's alot more athletic than he's getting credit for. If he's not a 4.5 guy then he could be a great special teamer and possession guy. It's hard for me to believe his school had him running back kicks but he was slow. Im sure there was someone else who was faster in his school that could've run back kicks were he that slow? Just my thoughts..I agree that there are probably guys a little taller, faster, and are more polished but they may have half the work ethic. Who knows...

I've said this before and I'll say it again, 4.5 40 is very fast. You always hear about a kid running a 4.3-4.4 40, but you have to stop and ask was it hand or laser timed? Coaches like to inflate their kids numbers in order to garner attention for both the school and the player. I personally never pay attention to 40 times unless I know that it was done at an offical camp like Sparq or Nike, was done at the nfl combine, or the coaches timed it themselves at the school camps.
