He said it. And by the way I'm not slamming the staff. I understand that qb wasn't a position of concern. I just hate kids this talented leaving our backyard.

Dude, I'm not impressed either, sub-par arm, accuracy issues, I'm not impressed at all

FYI I wasn't saying you were ridiculous. I was saying a 17 year old kid saying he is FOR SURE done with recruiting is silly to assume. What happens when UGA beats the shite out of Clemson next year? What happens if Dabo gets the heave ho? What happens if Deshaun Watson gets red socks for christmas instead of orange?
The mind of a teenager is never "made up". Heck i couldn't even decide on a loyal pron site to go to when i was that age.

Sub par arm? The kid can sling the damn ball. Let's not get carried away here. The kid is a baller and will go to a BSC school. I just prefer to have Watson this year.

I know you weren't directing it at me. I just wanted to make sure that people didn't think I was slamming the coaches.

IMO if we can't get Watson we shouldn't take anyone at all. Obviously we can't afford to do this due to lack of depth (shocking) but I'm just not sold on Queen developing into a big time talent. Depending on if Ramsey takes a redshirt this is what our depth chart will look like for life after Murray
1. Mason RSR
2. LeMay RJR
3. RamseyRFR
4. Bauta RSO
OR if Ramsay doesn't RS
1. Mason RSR
2. Ramsay SO
3. LeMary RJR
4. Bauta RSO
Lets be real Bauta will be converted into some type of hybrid FB/TE and really does not have a legitimate show at gaining any meaningful time at QB so Queen would essentially be 4th on the depth chart.
He may prove me wrong an become an All-SEC QB before his time is done but at the moment I just don't see it. He is not a terrible prospect by any means, it just sucks that there is such a drop off between him and Watson.

Can anybody find queen's sophomore highlights? All I can find is his freshman highlights.
The kid can flat out move. To be as big as he is and run like he does, It's very impressive. From what I saw, he had a pretty solid arm. However, I was watching his freshman highlights. I'm sure he will develop and get stronger over the next two years...
He was way better than he should have been as a freshman. It will be interesting to see how he develops.

Here you go

He's deceptively fast. He doesn't have great speed but he can read the open field good enough to make up for it.

Well, I don't have an account for that but it looks like it was one camp. That's a small sample size. Look at the link in my previous post and use that as a better piece.

His sophomore highlights are pretty impressive.

Maybe he'll top Watson's records...

I like the touch he is able to put on some of his throws. Just seems like that's an ability that takes some QBs a lot longer to catch up on (Stafford) but him doing that as a sophomore is a good sign.

I don't think he has the weapons that Watson has/had plus he plays in a much harder region.
Not to take anything away from Watson at all.

Malkom Parrish, a guy who is likely our #1 CB target this cycle, is visiting next weekend; Friday through Sunday.
This is big because GT is trying to sell him on playing QB and reports are that he's leaning that way. Bobo is going down to see him soon and then his visit could be big. His future in the NFL is at CB, not QB, and we need to pitch that to him, big time.
