Why Do We Ruin Coaches?

It seems like "hot" coaches that get involved with us go on to suck elsewhere no matter if they did well or poorly here.
Just in recent history:
Kansas has one win in two years, Brian Polian has a losing record at Nevada, Tim got stuck at Fresno St. and is number 3 on coachinghotseat.com, Kliff ruined Tech, Cal is doing so-so, Spartan fans already hate Snyder, and Mike Sherman is a high school football coach.
I compare that to say a Texas where Bryan Harsin, Manny Diaz, Applewhite and (depending on your definition of success) Muschamp all got out of there and found success afterwards.

Kliff and Muschamp aren't much different as HCs

What about Dino Babers at Syracuse?

Coaches are so desperate to get away from aggy they take jobs that aren't good situations?

Upon realizing there's no place like home, all of the departed fall deeply into depression and their work suffers.

Kliff will never get another head coaching job at the Power 5 level again. Muschamp got another job like that in a year. Plus Will took Florida to a Sugar bowl. Tech won't even make a Cotton Bowl under Kliff.

I was just going by recent history. To dig up a skeleton as old as his means going through a lot of Torbush.

All things are about getting the Universe in balance. All of those poor coaches are still paying for Bear going to Alabama.

Damn, I thought Fran was our payback for that Karma.

Surely you see the difference between Florida and Tech. Muschamp took over for Urban Meyer and promptly ran the program into the ground. South Carolina being dumb enough to hire him shouldn't count as a plus
28-21 Florida, one of the top jobs in the country
22-22 at Tech
Really not that different.

Also Cal is 10th in the country in total offense

Bear Bryant was pretty decent. I'm sure all of the assistants who left for HC jobs aren't complaining about the paycheck.
