Leon O'Neal? Keldrick Carper? (please not) Deshawn Capers-Smith?

Carper is the best of the three right now

DCS is a slot/pseudo-rover at this point

Leon O’Neal is simply too slow to play safety at this level and probably rolls down to linebacker after gaining some weight. With two elite speedy safeties coming in he will not last there. I could see him playing a big role though against our next two opponents given their lack of passing game.

Unfortunately we have a ton of tweeners at safety on this roster.

Is ONeal anywhere near big enough to be a LB? He doesn’t strike me as a guy with a frame to grow into it.

Ill be honest, he probably won’t be a good college player. Just doesn’t fit in well in modern CFB.

Tend to disagree. If Lefty can prove to be a useful player - and he is - then I think Leon can for sure.

ridiculous statement. He's a true freshmen, its a shame he is logging meaningful snaps at all this year.
