The Pulse was great, the Jimbo articles have been great, and as a CFB fan he looks WAY more relaxed at A&M than he has at FSU in years. Also, a LOT of you are underselling Mond who was a TRUE freshman last year

Even JFF was a RS Freshman, and he didn't even play inside a system until later. He just improvised everything. It will be a mediocre year, but is the start of something great

Just like Sherrill, it's going to take a few years

People will lose their minds if the team plays the way it did his first three years. They went 5-6, 5-5-1, 6-5. That kind of performance would cause the melt of melts.

I expect to become competitive in year 3. I'm not expecting anything these first two years.

I still remember the excitement and electric atmosphere of that first Sherrill game, magnified by the installation of the 12th man kickoff team. Those were some exciting and hopeful times. Let's just hope it doesn't end like Sherrill's tenure did.

I'm sure everyone was super hopeful right after Boston College beat the ever loving shite out of us at Kyle.

What's really funny is how one of the reasons people are against playing Texas now is b/c they don't want a bad season to be "saved" by beating them when Jackie's job was very much saved by beating the sips down in his 3rd year.

Jimbo leaves and his defensive coordinator takes over for one of the most successful runs in our history?

I would take it.

I was referring to the scandal and probation. Obviously anyone will take the run that followed.
