Top 20 College Players - NFL.com

12. Kyle Allen, QB, Texas A&M
Preseason ranking: Unranked
If I were starting a college football team for 2016, Allen would be my first phone call. His ability to move in the pocket and deliver the ball with accuracy downfield makes him a likely candidate to be at the top of this list next season. And this year, he and Garrett might just lead their team to a major bowl game.

Posted, now make fun of Barnett

It's also weird there isn't a single Bama player on that list. Not saying there should be necessarily, but I can't imagine that ever being the case since like 07

it wouldn't suprise me if kyler ended up playing more than allen by the end of the game. not sayin it's gonna happen, but kyler is a different kind of threat back there, might need him before this game's over with..

Huh, Allen is the best qb in the SEC and one of the best in the country, what's wrong with y'all. Kyler has potential but damn he needs to put on some muscle cause guys like Ragland will hurt him.

If we can flush them out of the pocket (we will) and contain the qb (probably will as well), then he will be making bad throws.

Do they even know they are playing us and not Auburn or LSU this week

What does this even mean? The QB staying contained in the pocket and pushing the QB out of the pocket are mutually exclusive. Lotta nonsense here.

After reading that whole thread, there are maybe 3 bama posters who have watched more than a few downs and a highlight on ESPN of us. The rest have no idea what we're even doing.

That is a very correct assessment; Bama fans on the rant are in general ignorant with regards to our team.

I think last year's score has a lot of them sleeping on A&M. I doubt the team is doing the same, but we can only hope.

I think the game is 50% either way, it's going to come down to how much bama commits to the run, and turnovers. This is probably the game I'm most worried about this season. OM plays into our strengths and by the time we meet LSU, I think Chavis will have improved the run D to the point where we can stop Fournette.

I think Bama will play us similar to Arky but Brandon Allen is light years ahead of Coker

kyler might be the type of player we have to turn to.

bama does not have a bad pass defense. i hope allen shreads em up, but that might not happen.

Is there a rule once you announce a starter they have to take the first snap?

I would announce today Kyler is starting just to throw them off in preparation; but in reality Kyle will be the starter

They are going out of their way to say that they haven't watched us too much.

Announce it's for undisclosed reasons and then have Kyle wear a sling around campus. Maybe put Kyler in a boot too just for the hell of it. Then let social media take care of things.

Reminded me of the SNL skits with the Chicago Bears fans. Who you got in this weekends game? DA BEARS. Who are we playing? I don't know....

yup, similar with asu, except i think he may stay in longer. just depends on how the game is going. we aren't going to generate much of a ground game against bama, we may need to at some point, that's all i'm sayin.
