Texas FBS Power Rankings (Week 3)

The sips wrecked Bama and we got wrecked by Miami. Terrible weekend for my soul. Rice beat Houston for the Bayou Bucket and put Holgerson's tenure at Houston on life support which gives them an extra boost in this week's rankings. UTSA edged out Texas State in the I-35 Rivalry and is starting to look like they have a solid defense. SMU couldn't overcome mistakes against OU though they held in there for a while. Tech lost a really fun game to a solid Oregon team but I can't move them up until they win a game. Baylor kind of got screwed at the end of their game vs Utah in a battle of backup QBs but since Utah's QB is a walk on they drop. North Texas can put up points but can't stop anyone. Sam Houston is the reverse playing great D but can't score for anything. UTEP still looks like the worst team in CUSA.
