I thought Rice was in the field every year.

I wonder if we'll face another SEC team in non conference. I wouldn't mind an extra shot at LSU. I hope we can beat down a few former Big XII teams too (NU & BU).

Dunno why no Rice but I don't mind. Hopefully we'll play them midweek like always. I really wouldn't mind a weekend series vs them but we don't ever do that for some reason

Today's games are officially scheduled for 4 and 630 central time. We'll see how much we get in

I think that Rice has been in the tournament every year since it started (2002? maybe 2003?). I want to say the first year it was the eight SWC schools that had baseball (no SMU) and was essentially a SWC reunion tournament. I think that Rice and UH have been in all of them.

Possible free video for today's twin bill.

Forecast for today looks good. Fresno State has lights, so we don't have to worry about darkness. BTW, their park seats 5,700. That's *HUGE* for the West Coast.

---------------------------
Today A 40 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 65. Southeast wind around 15 mph.

Tonight Mostly cloudy, with a low around 52. South southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light and variable after midnight.

Sunday Partly sunny, with a high near 68. Calm wind becoming southeast around 5 mph in the afternoon.

My phone is getting better speeds than my home internet which should be 10x faster. Time Warner/ Comcast sucks.

ETA: When they get Google Fiber put in here in a couple months I'm switching even if it costs 10x what I'm paying now.

Losing back to back game ones is not a good habit to start. Need to come back and take these last 2. We don't have a ton of road games so we need to show the committee we can win on the road to help our hosting resume.

Dave South is on the radio.

I thought about saying play by play instead of radio but that's not an accurate description of Dave South's style.
