An offshoot of the shitty Athlon thread on the rant:

A&M has had 10 different starting quarterbacks in the last 10 years. For the purposes of this, I'm including all of Stephen McGee's starts as well.

Johnny Manziel: 19-6 (2012-2013)
Stephen McGee: 16-13 (2005-2008)
Ryan Tannehill: 13-7 (2010-2011)
Jerrod Johnson: 13-16 (2008-2010)
Kyle Allen: 9-5 (2014-2015)
Trevor Knight: 7-4 (2016)
Kenny Hill: 5-3 (2014)
Kyler Murray: 2-1 (2015)
Matt Joeckel: 1-0 (2013)
Jake Hubenak: 1-2 (2015-2016)

Weren't all of Tannehill's losses games where we had a double digit lead at one point? If not all of them, then maybe all but one?

LSU - led 10-0 at one point
Oklahoma State - led 20-3 at halftime
Arkansas - led 35-17 at halftime
Missouri - led 28-17 in the 4th quarter
at Oklahoma - never led
at Kansas State - led 14-0 early 1st and 31-21 with 2 minutes left in regulation
t.u. - led 13-0 in the first half

Thanks. That's what I thought.

That was the worst season as a fan. People are bummed after last year because last year continued and confirmed a trend, but 2011, losing every game we lost after being up by double digits, was terrible. Sherman implemented a great offense. Trained and recruited a great offensive line, groomed a great QB, he just couldn't get out of his own way. He was told to hire a offensive coordinator and in his hubris refused. Ahh... what could have been. Those 2011 and 2012 teams were as stacked with ACTUAL talent as we've been since the 90s though, without any hype. I'll give the man credit where credit's due.

true but it was only 13-10 at the half and then they proceeded to lose the 3rd quarter 28-0 and the game 41-25.
