I get heated about this topic because based on what I've heard, Kevin Sumlin truly isn't fit to run a MAC program. It's shocking some of the stuff being leaked from the inside about his management. I need to not take that frustration out on other posters though.

No I meant I got too harsh, I really don't like what I'm hearing about Sumlin and realize it is clouding my posts.

This isn't the playground of either pubes or hamm. Nothing you post here would backfire on you...unless the other sites lurk here, in which case it's a tacit admission that this is the best A&M message board.

And what I meant by the truth was how other coaches don't let stand what Sumlin allows. It's not just Spav. He kept Snyder when literally Snyders own position coaches were telling him to fire him after 2013.

Is that why Yates left and fricked us over with DSG in the process?

I'm not worried about backfire, I just don't want to be a dick to Aggies here. We all want the same thing and that is to win.

Just 5 hours until we pass the 1 week mark.

And neither Sumlin or Hyman are Aggies, so bash away.

I just assumed that I had gone to far and pissed you off.

I would just caution you to take rumors and hearsay w/a grain of salt.

When the team isnt winning like the big boosters want is when every single thing that has ever irked one of them will come out and often its twisted and massaged to sound as terrible as possible.

Take Baylor for example. If they start to lose a and slip back to say 7-5 on average, the shite that will come out about Briles will probably melt the media's faces. But since he is winning right now nobody cares.

Yates left because he told Sumlin he couldn't work with Snyder because he refused to let his corners play the way he wanted them to play.

There was a pretty big confrontation between Price and Sumlin in January 2014 after the Duke game. Price told Sumlin it was a mistake keeping Snyder and Snyder/Price really didn't speak to each other outside of gameday in 2014.

Well shite, Roger, I hate to hear this kind of stuff. I've been a full-on Sumlin supporter, but have to admit that this year's performance is concerning.

Is the same thing happening between DC and Spavitard?

All I'm saying is you're hearing this stuff from the AD...a groups who literally sits around bashing our HC on a daily basis. Consider the source.

The longer we go without getting rid of Spavitard, the more credibility that group acquires.

Says who? A bunch of dudes who have no clue what is going on?

I'm not saying I trust in the judgment of Sumlin or anyone else, I'm just saying I don't know enough to make an informed decision and neither does anyone else here. I do know Spav is the best offensive recruiter on our team, and my family member, who was an elite college football assistant coach and big time follower of Aggie football, says Spav is better at developing quarterbacks than most think but can't call plays or game prep for shite.

So like I said, I don't know what the best decision is but Roger gets info from the AD, who are a notorious bunch of petty whiners who wish they had more control over the football staff so they could "fix things."

I don't get my information from anyone and I don't make assumptions based on a bunch of questionable hearsay. Spav shouldn't call plays, that's all I know. If Sumlin doesn't think that, he should be fired. But I have not seen anything to conclusively show me Sumlin actually thinks that.

Why? He's getting paid and the defense he put on the field this year cemented his legacy as one of the best DCs in the history of the game. A good DC would have taken a massive nose dive with our linebacking personnel and DBs this year, but not chief.

he came here hoping to finally get that offense that could equal the defenses hes able to create. He easily surpassed any expectations i had for our defense and in return we give him an offense that averaged 7 pts the last four games. The Johnny years gave me so much hope so my BAS is ridic atm haha

He came here because he had serious problems with the LSU AD. They are the worst, and this year's Miles firing/not firing fiasco proved that without question.
