Make no mistake, Sumlin's name WILL be dragged through the mud if he doesn't succeed next season. There are vindictive people in our big donor base who resent his arrogance and on field failures.

Meh, it's more about the latter than the former. Losing on the field gets you canned, regardless of your personality. We've run off some nice guys for losing, and we'll run off arrogant guys for losing. Wouldn't matter if Sumlin were the cuddliest guy in the world, his seat would still be warm right now

Our fanbase had a lot of respect for Sherman even though he failed. Don't underestimate how much arrogance rubs other arrogant people the wrong way.

I wonder what kind of dirt we have. Hopefully it's just him being a drunk and nothing that stains the program as well.

The program is a Mickey Mouse operation right now with Sumlin literally being ordered to make changes because oil millionaires know more about football than him.

you just described every single program other than maybe Bama and even Lord Saban wouldn't be immune if he went a few years w/o an SECW title.

No, good coaches wouldn't need to be told to get rid of Spav. He would be calling plays again next year if Sumlin had his way.

Like he owes the mafia 100k+ and has been point shaving?

Or he got in a fistfight with Kenny hill during halftime?

Or he smokes weed with recruits on OV's?

Well that's pretty much best case scenario I'd say.

I assumed the Rumlin shite had a base in fact, but is it really any worse than just showing up hungover? shite, half the team probably does that.

Lane Kiffin has forgotten more about offensive football than Sumlin and Spav have ever known combined. Kiffin's problem is that he is TOO creative and gets away from Saban's gameplan. Lane Kiffin would set the world on fire here as OC, his passing tree is beautiful,

GTFO w/your silly hyperbole and admit that even GOAT HCs hold on to co-ordinators they should dump. His passing tree means frick all if he is going to get away from the game plan. ( at that attempted waive away)

Edited: That post was too harsh for this board among Aggies. I don't mean to be ugly to you. I'll just say I disagree with you and the truth of my statement will come to light in the next year or so.

This isn't a thread to defend Rumlin or Spavitard.

I have absolutely no doubt that if Fat Kevin doesn't can Spavitard, the donors will ensure no one wants Sumlin as a head coach ever again.

Sorry if I got too harsh and set you off.

I did change it to GTFO instead of STFU to try and tone it down a bit.

I've been on a bit of a run fricking w/Baylor friends the last couple of hours so I've gotten a bit salty.

Not sure what you mean by the truth of your statement though. Kiffin tards it up just as much as Spav. It doesnt matter if his tardation slightly differs b/c at the end of the day he farts away advantages to try and catch teams off guard when if he'd just play to his teams strengths Bama would blow everyone out. I'm confident that if Kiff was at A&M everyone would want him out same as they do Spav.
