But when he says stuff like "I have no idea what players are in there and don't adjust my playcalling to them" with a straight face it's a bit disconcerting.

each position coach manages player rotation. While it seems crazy to fans, the playcaller doesn't have time to figure out who's hurt, or subbed out etc.

They have about 10 seconds to figure out what's next and communicating the personnel situation is simply not possible. They have to get the right set on the field and are also paying attention to what the opposition does.

Personnel issues are usually handled between series. And even then, unless it's something so large that it changes the gameplan, the playcaller is like, whatevs, I need to coach my guys.

Look, fast in practice can be a lot slower than when you've got the football and guys are chasing you while the endzone is in sight. New gears are found

I don't disagree and I believe that Mazzone was being truthful. TK flies! He was leaving CBs in the dust. I can't see how this is a bad thing. Do I want him to run every series? No, of course not. I just want opposing defenses to worry about it.

I'm borderline erotic Bert style thinking about our 3 headed monster running game.

Keith ford pounding them hard and relentlessly

T Williams with incredible moves and bursts of speed

Trevor knight turning any passing play he wants into an instant touchdown with his feet if he sees any hole in the line
