2016 will be a failure of epic proportions not seen since Tyrone Willingham's final season at Washington.

It won't get bad record wise, but the relationship between the ADvsSumlinvsBMA's will be about as toxic as Iran's and Saudi Arabia's

Good thing we didn't over-expand Kyle Field

It won't?

The only winnable conference game next season is Mississippi State.

If you mean likely to win then I would say State & South Carolina would be the games we are favored. I would say LSU, Arkansas, Auburn, & UT would be around 50-50.

3-5 or 4-4 wouldn't be too crazy. We all agree the offense can't be worse without Spav.

Kevin Sumlin has scored a grand total of 17 points vs. Will Muschamp. Muschamp has his number.

Muschamp has yet to lose to Sumlin. I don't see that changing next year.

Fine. Bert is 0fer vs Sumlin. I guess Arkansas is winnable.

Sumlin will get his contract extended

Sumlin would win a NC and not need his contract extended. We went all in on him after year 1.

Please, by all means...NAME THE 9 WINS.

I'll give you NMSU, Prarie View, and the third cupcake.

LSU - NOPE (1 loss)
Alabama - NOPE (2 losses)
Ole Miss - NOPE (3 losses)
Arkansas - NOPE (4 losses)
Tennessee - NOPE (5 losses)

That leaves Auburn, Mississippi State, South Carolina and UCLA as POSSIBLE wins and we have two of those on the road.

Add to that the fact that we lose 3 starters off of a TERRIBLE offensive line, likely lose Hall and Reynolds to the NFL draft, and currently have one scholarship quarterback (not counting McQueen) left.

Our offense was below average, but not awful this year. It can DEFINITELY get worse.

For example: We're losing a good chunk of the OL, which means more protection issues, and Hubenak is only 200 pounds. If one of the inevitable qb hits early in the season is bad, we're rolling with a walkon or whatever lousy transfer is on the roster (Trevor Knight seems most likely) behind a miscommunicating OL. That's the point when we'd see truly awful offense.

I see 7 wins vs.
UCLA (Mora era is turning sour too. Homefield may not mean shite as of late, but those Cali boys will also have to face our humid Texas summer)
Prairie View
Auburn (They lost Muschamp, Gus Bus is out of gas)
Arkansas (they always struggle in first half of season. You know Sumlin will call Kliff for advise this time)
New Mexico State
UTSA
Mississippi State (No Dak attack)

Then a 50/50 chance vs

Tennessee (Butch Jones best win was against Georgia. They're not as good as their record indicates)
LSU (It may sound crazy...ok, stupid, but their new DC coached against the slow and boring BigTen. Only time he faced Ohio State, he surrendered 59 points. If Sumlin gets an OC who can produce points, and not necessarily flashy stats....there's a chance)

Probably lose vs

South Carolina (Muschamp has Sumlin's number)
Ole Miss (pos thug Chad Kelly ran that offense to perfection his first year. They may lose talent to the NFL, but they are still a notch above us)

Absolutely Lose vs
Alabama (They're Bama. We are A&M.)

It'll probably be another 8 win season, which won't be a disaster as some of you make it seem to be. But off the field, it will still be ugly. I don't see Sumlin surviving with another 8 win season. Too much stuff has happened for him to get another pass with another average season.

Based on what Mazzone has done the last 2 stops, the offense should improve immediately.

I agree, he just appears to have a ceiling at most of his schools, and unfortunately people have gotten sour on him in his most recent stop. I'm afraid we will do the same here even though his offense may be serviceable with chief's defense.

Sumlin has no interest in the NFL.
