I don't want any coach that has to "learn" the SEC. Peterson, Franklin, Morris all fall in this category.
Let's just see how this season plays out. Sumlin may just do a good job this year.

Accepting the premise that there is such a thing as learning the SEC, Franklin coached in the SEC for 3 years. What would he have to learn?

You are correct. My bad. I totally forgot about him being the HC at Vandy. (Too many enchiladas at lunch).
