Depends on how that plays out, but I'd be cautious because 2017 has 5-7 written all over it regardless of what happens this year. It's the result of Sumlin taking January off the last two years.

Seems they lost too much and now have no depth on defense

Their pass D in general has been atrocious tonight. TEs and RBs running completely uncovered.

i don't think any one game proves we're good.
maybe good for the one respective game.
if we don't go 10-3 this year then i'd say we're okay, but not good.

if tennessee can beat uf or uga and we beat them, then i'd say we're a good team.
if not, we have to wait til the bama game.
i don't think the ags beat bama, so after week one i think ole miss will be a good barometer if we only have one loss at that point.
things could change after week two, we'll have to see.

Our defense should keep us in every game, so HOPEFULLY we're at least done with the blowouts.

Arkansas will be a coin flip like every year.
We lose to Bama and Auburn obviously.
We NEED to beat LSU. Not for the rivalry, but just because we haven't beat them since 1995.
So 9-3 is my minimum. SEC sucks this year so we probably won't get a 'big' win this year, just a good record. Short of that and I'm going to melt and become as unbearable as CGSC come November.

I can't believe we've resorted to this.
But then again, I remember just hoping we would be bowl eligible when I was at A&M (thanks a lot Fran/Sherman!).

not blaming you in particular but I can already see the foundation of "The SEC was down so a good record doesn't count" being laid by the Sumlin boo birds.
