Bama got their 3rd DT today from a kid from Canada. I am hoping (with nothing to back it up) that Lucas told them no and the Canadian DT was plan B.
I like Lucas a lot. I think he has Leal potential. Very similar prospect imo. He can be that big 5 who can spin down to 3 and rush the passer. I think he is a no brainer 5 star talent.

My thoughts are from various sources - recruiting sites, friends in coaching, etc. There are some well-connected people on TA if you read the tea leaves to boot

We actually lead for White, Lucas, both Stewarts, and apparently Mathews as well. It is my honest opinion (nothing public to back it up) that we lead for Perkins and Dewberry as well.

I am guessing we will do everything we can try to get them to sign early (even if they’re still planning on announcing at an all star game). That would only give the new hire a couple weeks to win them over. It’s certainly a concern though.

I cannot see us taking all these DL, so it might come down to who is willing to commit and "secure" their spot. Lucas or Shemar Stewart but not both. White or Abor but not both. Then again, maybe they just all commit and we sort it out down the road

Maybe not. I think we’ve proven how much we rotate across the DL and that we can have 4-5 guys getting pro attention at once. Regardless our DL class is going to be absolutely insane.

Key for A&M is to win out. If we do that the momentum in CS is going to be insane. So many little pieces coming together and with the Nolen commit the big pieces are poised to start falling into place.
