There’s nothing that tilts me more than referencing singular events in sports that happened under different coaching staffs/front offices/etc. as if they are relevant in any way now

I think we should drop it now but “Mr. Texas A&M” hurt. I still dislike Venables because of it, and I really enjoyed the wins over Nelson back in the day. frick I will admit enjoying seeing OU behind us on the rankings almost every year because of it still.
But in a way today stands in contrast to that era like some sort of closure. To be on the other end of a stunt like we saw today and to have the other program be a program like Florida for a Florida kid is kinda amazing. Even if the regimes have changed hands many times it’s proof that our investments in the program since the SEC move have started to pay off.
So let’s let Mr. Texas A&M die as we reflect on how shitty it was to be a Big 12 program with so-so recruiting and that would get confused nationally with Texas Tech.
But in a way today stands in contrast to that era like some sort of closure. ILE/CGSC is a requirement to advance past O4 regardless of branch, so drop the "pogue" nonsense. Also, we had W4 and E9 students as well.
I was fortunate enough to go in resident instead of distance learning.
Also, unlike Pubes, I have an actual engineering degree and can write at greater than an 8th grade level.

I swear people are sleeping on King. Kid already is a drop-back QB, tough as nails, athletic, and coach's son. People talk about the other QB's like Stowers, but I think this kid ends up being the heir apparent to Mond

SEC has different qualifying metrics for JUCOs, Ellison doesn’t have a required math class.

I saw people comment about the math class, I just don't understand how that requirement got missed by his advisors and the A&M academic people.

I’m guessing it’s possible because of the specific players and how they are ranked by each site. 247 averages the players rankings, not the overall team ranking.

No disrespect was given. Other than the pogue joke that nobody on this forum got. Thank you for your service. I will be headed back to Aggieland soon enough after my own retirement to finish my 2nd Degree in history. Inane degree, but many are persistent to pursue a repeat of history, therefore the study of history is necessary to prevent it from being repeated.

Neither. I ended up on the wrong end of two Senior Raters' profiles and got SELCON'ed in 2017. There are worse things than retiring as an O4 with 20.5 years though and I get to enter the workforce 3-5 years before my former peers.
