I think we've seen some good first year play at WR from Ausbon and Buckley. I like Buckley, he's a tough guy. Rogers and Paul also caught a few. They may develop more. Beyond those four, it's alot of question marks.

This seems like a good situation for Waddle, and he appears to sense that. Good chance of seeing the field soon since he and Paul would probably be splitting time at slot WR to start the year.

Waddle is a laser timed 4.37, shifty little mf.

YouTube his highlights. He’s been abusing corners at army all American practice this week.

ITS
Waddle

Ojomo
O'Neal
Ossai
Martin

Take that shite and call it a day. Start ‘18 off hard as a rock, so basically like every year.

But I think Preson will come into the fold too and we may have a surprise on defense.

I was pretty Salty seeing Kendall Sheffield and Oduka (sp?) in Ohio State’s bowl game. Jimbo needs to cut those fricking pipelines off and reroute that shite to aggieland or a ford dealership or whatever the frick he has to do

Yes, but Florida is a threat. Cannot get sleepy with him or he will flip. Jimbo considers him a top priority though so should be fine.

Edit: I see where my post was confusing, implying Preston was not already “in the fold.” Meant to say we will keep him in the fold but he is not signed and considering other visits which are legitimate threats.

I was looking over 247s Top 50 prospects in Texas list and I decided to look at them by geography. Make of it what you will.

Top 50 players by region.

Houston: 24
DFW: 17
East Texas: 4
I-35 Corridor (basically Waco to San Antonio ~50 miles east or west): 4
West Texas: 1

Top 50 players by commitment by region.

Houston: A&M (7), Texas (8), OOS (3), Baylor (1), Uncommited (5)
DFW: A&M (1), Texas (1), OOS (9), TCU/TTU/Baylor (5), Uncommitted (1)
East Texas: Texas (2), LSU (1), TCU (1)
I-35 Corridor: Texas (1), OU (2), Uncommited (1)
West Texas: Texas (1)

A&M has crystal ball leads for 4/5 uncommitted prospects in Houston.
Kaeontay Ingram (East Texas) & Keondre Coburn (Houston) could visit A&M between now and Feb.
A&M lost a commitment in DFW (Bobby Brown) to Alabama.

12 of the top 15 players are from the Houston Area.
The first DFW Area player is ranked 16th.
The top 12 players in the state are all DB/WRs.
There are only 7 DL in the state Top 50. There are also only 7 OL in the state Top 50 (A&M has 3 committed).
There are only 4 LBs in the state Top 50 (3 in DFW, 1 Houston).

I would be stunned if he didn't sign. Manvel is like the opposite of North Shore for us. A kid has to get paid (Ole Miss) for us to lose a kid we want out of there.

It really seems like y'all have a chance to pull him. How many spots are left in this class?

thats a good question. i imagine jimbo has already processed enough folk to make room for anyone he wants. i'll believe that we are actually signing a 5 star corner when i see the fax though!
