Why don't we just hire a young porn star. Mia Khalifa should be our OC. Can't do much worse than Spav, it would help recruiting, and deter from some of the Aggy is gay stigma.

What's the worse that could happen?

Would be some nice incentive based programs to be had for the offense.

Tony Franklin is bad? Lol

He's been successful everywhere he's been for more than one year (basically minus auburn)

He had success in the sec at UK when they were less talented than they are now.

He took a near winless cal team to a top 30 offense after one year.

Why not Jeff Traylor? The recruits seem to like him.

Yes let's hire a guy at OC who's signed 5 more recruits than I have.

Tony Franklin was the opposing OC for the epic La Tech shootout in '12, and he's much closer to Kliff's pure Air Raid than Mazzone (who is more of a late-80s early-90s one back guy)

I'm rooting for Mazzone to get cold feet if he's plan C

Tony Franklin had the #2 offense in the country at UK.

That's a bigger feather in the cap than any other OC in the country.

He also is responsible for more highschool touchdown than any other man on the planet.

His system would negate our OL issues and let our skill players flourish.

Tony Franklin would be a better choice than Mazzone.

As an LSU fan, id rather y'all give Mazzone $1 mil. Franklin would probably turn that offense right around.

I just don't think we have a QB on the roster who can wing it around 50 times a game in the SEC with success. You need to be able to keep secondaries honest for that work in the SEC IMO and I don't think we have the QB to do it.

Also Franklin's offense was successful in the SEC for one season like 16 years ago when nobody knew what the hell the Air Raid was

Honestly if those are the two options left I'm kind of worried about the bigger picture and whether we know what the hell we want to do with our offense. Franklin and Mazzone's offenses are pretty different.

And that is the ONLY good thing on his resume

I mean he's had good seasons at the lower levels of FBS and in the PAC. I think we would need a QB like Goff who can beat defenses over the top for it to work in the SEC though
