For once I really believe we had an actual search. If the donors were running things it would be Traylor or some other and it never would have wound around like it has. We've seen that over and over. One name that stays constant.

Don’t understand how someone like that can follow sports

Elko is underwhelming, too. Who has he coached under? Brian Kelly, Dave Clawson and Jimbo… hardly championship pedigree material.

We should not even be contemplating an elko. I can’t believe people are getting paid to make such terrible decisions.

Agreed. Jimbo coached under Saban and Bobby Bowden. That was the pedigree needed in Aggieland. Can’t believe we swung and missed on Ryan Day

Elko wouldn’t be on this list if he didn’t coach here already. Fisch and Sumrall are the only two decent options. Utah would love us to take Wwittingham so they can promote Ludwig. Kentucky praying we are dumb enough to take Stoops

Faldo on both of those last two statements. I don’t love Stoops but certainly a better option than Traylor and probably Elko. Whittingham is a stud who was winning games there long before Ludwig showed up. That said he seems too old to be interested in that kind of change. Big XII is a great chance for him to make the CFP.

I’m not convinced Ryan Day is the real deal. If you can’t win the conference at Ohio state with only Michigan and penn state as year in, year out threats in the biggest recruiting hotbed in the Midwest and the only big school in the state, then you shouldn’t be coaching. I’m not sure what he’s doing there will translate to the SEC.

Not every coordinator turns out to be their predecessor, obviously. But there’s a lot higher chance he will than someone who isn’t.

Stoops would be great at a cheap salary. He’s making 9M at Kentucky

A&M has their coach. Promote ERob, replace Adazzio, and keep the rest. Cheap, too

Don’t let LSU’s FCS level defense trick you into thinking this current offense is the answer. We can do considerably better no matter who we hire

ERob quit w/2 minutes and change left.

IDGAF if the odds are insanely low. You use those timeouts and try to force a FG to be down 15 w/a super small chance to sore and get the onside kick.

I still want Fisch. Don’t think we will hire him, which is a huge mistake
