I love Jedd Fisch. Seriously, he reminds me a JS when he was climbing the ranks. I think the guy is a homerun hire for his ability to build a program.

Exciting offense, preaches toughness, and relates to the players well. Built AZ from the ashes ...

I would be excited. He would put together a great staff with our resources and he’s shown recruiting chops at Arizona already. I think there’s sneaky upside with him

I think it's time for the visor to make a comeback at A&M

Fisch, Smith and DeBoer are my favorites. If forced to choose between the three is would be DeBoer, Fisch, Smith. Think all three would most likely do a good job

Jedd Fisch, Arizona Wildcats Making an IMPACT | Head Coach on Culture Change, Proof of Concept

This is from two weeks ago with Andy Staples. He sounds good and would have a great plan moving forward.

i don't like fisch. he doesn't strike me as the guy who will get it done. he smiles too much and you can't wear both glasses and a visor, pick one. he just ain't got that dawg in him like deboer

I hear he wears the visor and glasses while making love to his wife. Total baller!

Thanks for that link

I can live with that, probably as good as odds of anybody else at being successful here

Let’s face it, it’s always a gamble regardless, if anything, Jimbo Fisher should’ve proved that to everybody

I watched this interview this morning. Really like his thoughts on roster building and culture building.

Yeah, I’m more happy with gambling on a guy like this than a Lane Kiffin who’ll most likely get us on probation with the ncaa by year 4

I'm down to guessing it's either him or Traylor at this point. I think both would be really good hires. I thought Bjork's quote told it all.

quote:

“We have to get this contract right," Bjork said. “We can’t do what we did before... We’re not giving bonuses to go to the Liberty Bowl. The CFP, the first round, the quarterfinals, the semifinals, you host, you win the national championship. If you win the national championship, you’ll get paid like a national championship coach. That’s how we’re putting this package together."

There is STILL a 500 plus post thread on Fisch at TexAgs. He is probably a candidate and the clubhouse leader of the realistic options. I'm trying to reach out to some friends at AZ (I have customers in Tucson, and will be there start of next week). Interestingly enough I will also be in San Antonio the second half of the week ...

I hope you get something back CA. Ags I am talking to think they already have their man just waiting to announce after the LSU game.

The way that Fisch said he wouldn't answer questions about A&M the other day is eye opening ... I'm really starting to believe he's our guy

DeBoer is going to get a raise to stay in WA.
Day isn't losing to MI this weekend.
Kiffin costs too much, and Liucci torpedoed him
Traylor is being his usual nasty self

Traylor in the Blitz interview came off unhinged to me. I just know the people around these parts are just in love with him.
