Hilldawg is not winning it. She can promise to give everyone a knew car and she still wouldn't win. I can promise the Dems wish they ran Biden and would if they could go back.

Projectpat is correct. There is no stopping the Hillary Clinton train.
But Trump and Palin are in a completely different category than anyone else. They are Jerry Springer show popular...

Hilary will probably win simply because the electoral college system gives the democrats essentially a vice grip on presidential elections these days. The long list of things that have to fall the GOPs way to win are just unlikely to ALL happen.

GOP wins the normal red states, Ohio, and Florida then it only leaves 17 more points needed from:
VA (13)
IA (6)
CO (9)
NV (6)
NM (5)
NH (4)
PA (20)
VA (13)
IA (6)
CO (9)
NV (6)
NM (5)
NH (4)
PA (20)

Out of that list, I see Cruz pulling IA and that's about it.
Trump has a shot at (especially vs Hildog):
PA
NV
IA
CO
All he would need is PA.
Hillary is a horrible candidate. She has won 1 (count em, 1) election, and that was basically uncontested in the bluest of blue states. She lost to a 1st term senator who was just testing the waters for a future bid last time around.
She is highly unlikable, terrible at debating when she gets attacked, and her husband has a history of sexual abuse, which no one cared about in 1998, but in SJW Americaland? Her poll numbers started dropping as soon as she marched out Bill, and Trump hit him with a broadside.
I like what Cruz has to say, but everything I can see about him is that he is hated not on a philosophical level by those who work with him, but on a personal level. I don't think he'd be able to get congress to follow him any more than Obama can.
Trump is still the best chance for the GOP and for America.

VA (13) - Red in 04, 00, 96, 92, 88, 84, 80, 76, & 72
IA (6) - Red Gov, 2 Red Sen, Red in 04, 84, 80, 76, & 72
CO (9) - 1 Red Sen, Red in 04, 00, 96, 88, 84, 80, 76, & 72
NV (6) - Red Gov, 1 Red Sen, 04, 00, 88, 84, 80, 76, & 72

NH (4) - 1 Red Sen, Red in 00, 88, 84, 80, 76, & 72
PA (20) - 1 Red Sen, 88, 84, 80, & 72
Its still way too early to tell, but I would guess IA, NV, & VA all end up red which puts it at 278. That is only 5 states being flipped from 2012.

He was hated in congress because he fought against his own party for being to liberal and giving in to Obama. He called Mitch a liar. He shook up their happy little elite circle. Of course they're going to hate him.

Is Sessions hated? Paul?
Both of them are ideologically similar (or far enough away from Washington mainstream) to Cruz and neither is universally hated. I don't see DeMint, Sessions, or any of the Freedom Caucus supporting Cruz.
Your comment makes my point. What makes you think these GOPe would work with Cruz on what he wants to do? He's too far right and not personable enough to pull a Reagan "I'm going directly to the people".

Romney was a terrible candidate for a number of reasons, one of which was that he had all of 0 charisma. That counts for a lot. He was a clone of McCain, Dole, etc.

So if your argument for Cruz is that he's an a-hole, why not go with an a-hole who is proven to get deals done?

He's had tons of support from Sessions, Lee, Paul, and that type throughout his time as a senator. Even Marco.
But he's more abrasive towards those who campaign one way and legislate another. TO me that is more of a reason to vote for him than not.
Here who has already endorsed Teddy.

I suspect Trump would be even less well-liked. As recalcitrant as Congress has been with Obama, after he pisses off both Dems and the GOPe? You can expect a great deal of nothing with regard to... well, any given Trump proposal

Is has? because last I checked he was basically given a blank check from the GOP controlled House & Senate.

If your definition of "blank check" was colloquial, then we wouldn't be seeing shitloads of executive action on immigration, emissions, guns, etc.
EDIT: The 112th and 113th Congress each enacted less than 300 laws. You have to go back to the 1920s to get that kind of inactivity. And please don't pivot to whether this is good or not, I'm making a factual point.

You put way, way, way more thought into this post than the average voter will when they hit their button. I'm telling you, none of those factors will matter to 90% of voters. It only matters to the 10% who talk about things like this.

The check that gave the government more money to spend and took away almost nothing. Yeah that one.
