I think we pick up a grad transfer also, either a true PG or a more athletic 4 type. One of the things that scares me about next year is lineups with both Trocha and Davis. That's sacrificing a lot in athleticism in the front court. Maybe Williams fills this fine though

I'm not so sure. I think we might be pleasantly surprised with how well trocha and Davis will pair together full time. You are correct about neither being extremely athletic, but I believe, and you saw it at times, that they both work really well with each other distributing the ball. I think tony t is an underrated passer too. Both he and Davis are both really smart with the ball and will make a pass where jalen had one thing, scoring, on his mind when he got the ball. What I'd love to see for next year is better spacing so that Davis can just shred defenses. Too many times this year he's caught the ball and another player would be on top of him allowing the defender to help defend on Davis.

I'm most concerned with the guard play, simply because it's more of an unknown given that the majority of the possessions were handled by both Caruso and Collins.

And nothing you posted refutes the fact that Caruso lacks the playmaking athleticism you typically see elite teams get from their PG. Hes a very good defender and can run a fast break well but in the half court he was of limited use

I take it you don't understand what I posted. Let me be more blunt: we score more points per time we have the ball when Caruso is on the court than when House is.

That's sort of the point of offense and is a far better measure of offensive production than observation.

we're definitely in the market. I know the Neal kid from UNM is visiting but I'm not sure how I feel about a kid that marks "death threats due to shitty play" as reason for transfer

It looks like we're going to sign the Corprew kid. And that guy from Spain visited this week. We also had a JUCO visit a few weeks ago. We're definitely adding more to the mix so it's hard to judge where we are.

agree with bara that our spacing is a lot better with Trocha/Davis combo. It makes Davis more efficient (which I think is why TTM's OE number is so high) but it definitely sacrifices defense

We need these two to get in the weight room this summer though. Both need better conditioning and Trocha needs to muscle up. TTM's development so far has been great so if he continues on this path I think we'll be okay.

And chill is bang on about Williams. Guy had a triple double in the state title game that included 13 blocks. He's the athletic guy in the mix.

I don't think A&M is s program that is "above" taking a player like Cullen Neal. He's a coaches kid and ESPN top 100 player. He's a long kid (6'4") who can play PG.

With Stansbury gone, we get to see who was truly responsible for this year's results.

Stansbury didn't get here this year. He has been with the program since May 2014.
