Last night was why we fired Jimbo and hired Elko

Game wasn’t going our way offensively, so Elko and Klein mix it up by putting Reed in. So refreshing to see the team call a major audible when something isn’t working.
Remember Sumlin refusing to pull Kyle Allen in the 2015 Ole Miss game when he was hurt?
Jimbo refusing to pull Haynes during the App St disaster in 2022?
We needed a spark, and it worked. This fanbase has seen way too much stubbornheadedness and trying to shove a round peg in a square hole the last decade.
I guess we sort of have a QB controversy now, but that’s ok. Figure out who gives us the best chance to win each game and go forward from there.

I'm just more impressed by the mental toughness. Sumlin or Jimbo-coached teams would have withered. Elko isn't flashy. He just gets shite done.

I had a thought in between the 3rd & 4th quarter that terrified me…what if Ross Bjork had succeeded in hiring mark stoops?!?!
