"Slapping them down" is just as childish.
Look, we can debate on here, but I'll not have this place turn into an all-out thunderdome. Speaking in general, if this mess keeps happening, the only thing that's gonna be getting slapped down are these inane flame posts.

I want to be sure that I understand your rules, because I have no doubt that these two (and several of their lackies) will not have the maturity to stand down.
I say or do something innocuous, like praising TAMU for honoring its unenforceable commitment to Tipoti. One or more of them starts trolling me. I am supposed to just ignore them.
I can do that, but how long am I required to tolerate the trolling? Do I have your commitment to resolve the problem? Will you be reading every thread continuously, or will I be expected to run to an Admin's skirts rather than defending myself?

Use the RA button. Don't escalate or I'll consider you part of the problem. I don't play favorites here, nor do I care about who starts what. Go after each other on the main Rant, the MSB, the OTB, what have you, but on here we're gonna keep it as civil as is possible.

It's the internet. Laugh it off or ignore it, use the RA button, and refrain from escalating. Response won't be instantaneous, because neither myself nor WCA can be on here 24/7, but if either of us log in and see foolishness afoot, all parties will be held responsible.

Fair enough.
For the record, I did not come to this site to fight other Ags, and I would prefer civilized behavior on EVERY board. I will make every effort over there, also.

I'm not anyone's daddy, just want to to cultivate one of the best environments online to talk about TAMU. We aren't a standalone site, though, so we all have to work doubly hard to keep this little corner of the interwebz as welcoming to as many Ags as possible.
