I've been a victim of this. In 2012, my boss was so sure I would get a certain command that he didn't allow me to set up interviews with other jobs in case it fell through.
When it fell through, I was left to rot for another year and a half before finally leaving for Lewis.

Every knock on Urban Meyer has to do with things his players did, not what he did personally. And he didnt "allow" things as much as he recruited known character issues who then ended up being criminals.
He also didnt actively cover up crimes like rape and murder like Baylor coaches did.

Bobby Petrino had an affair, something numerous college head coaches have done and remained employed. Petrino was fired over the optics of how he got caught and how public it was.

None of what Sumlin did merits firing "for cause" according to the contract, so by that standard it's minor.
If the AD allowed it, then Hyman was rightfully fired.

It absolutely does, the problem was we didnt do it at the time and thus have little legal ground to stand on now. Had we fired him in March of 2014 we wouldnt have paid him a dime.
