re: it's obvious to most Aggies that this is mainly Kylers fault

Less a silver lining and more a realization that Kyle and Kyler leaving doesn't mean that Chavis's D can't get better, or that we can't see Myles Garrett kick arse on the way to a first round pick, or that suddenly we aren't a SEC program anymore.
The real silver lining is it looks like I am a mod on here now!
Last night I noticed my new powers (hence why I RAed a post to test it).
Don't worry everyone, TBird remains our benevolent dictator. I am the Ark Information Minister:

Well...it's not like I am going to say no to that!

Johnny notwithstanding, I think Hoobs may end up being our most beloved QB since Bucky. Maybe McGee, for many of the same reasons we'll like Hubenak.

I took my talents to Columbia, SC
Nah, it's you, me, WCA, and one other who I won't out until I see them do it themselves, but you know who it is
I appreciate the help!

Now that I am on the other side I see how well behaved we are on here overall. I can now say without a doubt that this is the most fairly moderated Aggie site on the Internet.

You might want to let that person know they got promoted at least if you can, as quite frankly it took me a while to figure out why threads had little exclamation points next to them.

Already let him know

I know that from experience.
I normally am not melting, but dammit, when I want to melt, just let me have my melt and then go back to normal. I want to be able to call out crappy coaching or bratty players as I see fit, so long as that's not my main purpose for being on here.
That's tolerated here. Nodoby here questions my loyalty, that's obvious. But heaven forbid you ever have a differing opinion, don't worship the coaching staff or AD, or think a hero-worshipped player actually sucks on some of the other sites. You'll be banned. Eevn if you are normally a good poster.
I don't think we should allow people to just constantly trash our team school or program on here, nor should that be the purpose of the site, and for the most part, nobody does. But what I commend the moderation here for doing is allowing people to vent once in a while without a ban.

if you ban someone, are they banned from the entire site, or just this board?

Gotta be able to blow off some steam when bad news breaks, IMO
Melting can be kinda fun/therapeutic if done correctly

I feel you. Not to defend other places, but we have the advantage of not being very visible on here. When someone like Looch bans someone for posting something bad about a recruit he has to worry that the recruit's family maybe saw it. We just have to worry about cultivating the discussion, and honestly this community is good at self-moderation (aka the melt threads).

We only have power over this forum.

I really meant it when I said I wasn't trying to defend him. Just saying we have different exposure and a different audience.

Just the board, like cardboard said.
Honestly, for all the hoopla some make over the whole team board mod thing, there's really not a whole lot of power, per se.
The site owners just figured it'd be easier to give each team's fans purview over their own boards to ease the load on the main site admins. And they were right. Most of the team board bullshite can be handled internally without them having to investigate every single brouhaha.
Also, tAggyArk is extremely easy to mod compared to a lot of the other team boards that are comparably active. Thank all of y'all for that
