I don’t believe it but I’m pretty sure we just witnessed the end of the UCLA baton curse

Holeeee shite. That was crazy. Mr. Coach Klein needs to be fired. I hope his bs doesn’t cost us a championship.

Agreed

Reprimanded though

He tried to get Reed a Heisman moment catching a td to go up 38 but instead almost cost the game

How do we get 3rd quarter Aggies for the entire game?

I don’t know what happened in the first half

Receivers were getting hit in the hands by the football and it didn’t matter

Reid was making some of the worst decisions of his life

And Klein was having our running back run straight into five defenders, waiting for him

And somehow, in the second half it all magically changed

I don’t have answers. I’m just happy.

This was the motivation behind my referring to this team as “inmates running the asylum” a few weeks back. Which wasn’t really correct. That implies a sort of attitude issue, but it’s a focus one.

When they’re locked in they can be great, but it seems just about every week Elko has to get them to buckle down, and focus. They also have a habit of leaving a lot of points on the board…which also likely comes down to focus. I think that is their Achilles heel.

Flip side would be that when their backs are against the wall they don’t quit, and have been able to find a way so far.

Champions find a way to win. Doesn't have to look pretty.

Yep. This W was the polar opposite of that. Full circle. Curse broken.

Did anyone notice towards the end of the game when the South Carolina player was injured and they were about to line up for a chance to come back, the camera pointed to Elko as he mouthed "frick me frick me frick me frick me"

I noticed it

Thought it was

Frick it frick it frick it

But if he was on the mic with a coordinator it might have been him giving a command

Sounds like he might have been blaming himself for the situation the team found itself in.

TBH, I’d expect nothing less. He doesn’t blameshift.

It’s possible, maybe he gave the OK decline to try the trick play which put us in that spot where a field goal could give us the loss
