Yeah and judging by this years recruiting that sliver has grown into a full blown crescent with some outlying dots.

The whole A&M is gay because of male cheerleaders. Every other team in the SEC has a platoon of male cheerleaders. Technically we only have 5.

There is also the perception thing. Even when we were good we got no exposure and always had a coach who couldn't win the big one. People forget that before the BCS bowls were basically regional in nature and a lot of programs were ranked on reputation almost as much as accomplishments. Therefore it really is hard to compare a lot of programs. Yeah yeah I know I got off subject but I find it hypocritical when people try and compare programs based on completely unequal footing.

Yeah that really hurts us because we sucked during the era when football became national with the BCS. We never even won a BCS game which is really what separates a Georgia from an A&M or Arky in perception.
The good news is that I think the playoffs will be such a hit that the BCS era will be viewed as we view the pre-BCS era today. Time to really start kicking arse!
