At this point, this will be best for everyone involved. The way he has acted and dragged this out is just not going to work. It's bad enough Sumlin has a hard time controlling his players from doing hoodrat stuff with they friends. He doesn't need a diva creating a scene and giving bad examples to the current players. Cut his arse lose and let's move on.

I meant it more because their staff is a dumpster fire and I don't think Murray is that great, but if that's what happens then that's cool too

Its the best thing only because Sumlin fricked the situation so badly that it became unavoidable. Thats the bigger picture.

I think the new OC they hired isn't that bad.

Wrong, If he goes down to FCS he can play immediately. I do not think he would go to Sam St or Lamar but maybe, if they let him play both.

He isn't getting a release to any school in Texas or SEC. He'll have to go out of state or go down to FCS.

I know many think I'm FOS, but just thought I'd let everyone know that as of this evening things are really heating up regarding the movement to oust Sumlin. This thing isn't cooling off, and they are confident they will be able to force Sumlin to take a reduced buyout in exchange for the skeletons vein kept in the closet.
