Does Calzada remind anyone else of Randy McCown?

Yes, they both suck but can make timely throws in late games. Same as McGee

Watched the replay on DVR this morning. The 4th Q by Calzada gives me hope. Defense was just fine and really stepped it up.

We were at the game and it was freaking hot as hell in 1st and most of 2nd Q. Defense was left out there way too long. Oline got manhandled routinely but Colorado had zero worries downfield. Passing was a complete disaster for 3 quarters. Lots of pressure for a mediocre oline to deal with.

It’s important to note that King wasn’t exactly impressive last week either. The man had 3 INTs vs a garbage team. That was likely to be replayed yesterday.

The central piece we have that’s a weakness is the Oline. We have great RBs but they can’t get anywhere due to an Oline that’s coordinated as an afghanistan withdrawl.

Afghanistan withdrawal is like the 2008 offensive line, but with Colton Prater at center.

Agreed on the O-line. We are going to live or die in the tougher games based on how the interior line comes along. It is never good in the short term to have to start true fish anywhere on the O-line. We have to be able to run the ball efficiently to help the new QB, whomever it is.

The D is really finding it's stride. We are force-feeding experience to Raikes, Jones, and Turner at tackle. Hopefully we will get Jackson back soon, otherwise, we will periodically see some gash runs in the middle until the new tackles get completely settled in.

Calzada's cannon arm reminded me of Reggie McNeal.

Two of those were tipped passes that you can't really put on him. Not sure why you'd assume that would automatically happen again.
