Off the radar obviously but a great defensive mind, can get y'all back on the right track in that department. Pair him with a big time OC and A&M could be dangerous.

I wouldn’t hold anyone’s head coaching record in the nfl against them when they have so little control over the roster.

That said, he’d be the most risky and least experienced hire A&M has made in my lifetime and some change.

If he had more experience at the college level, especially recently, I wouldn’t mind him as a fallback option if we missed on the bigger targets. His college experience though is 4 years as a grad assistant at A&M (96-99) then at Tulsa as a DB coach for two years (2000-01).

I would rather take a chance on a defensive guy if we are forced to go that route because I think there’s a better pool of OCs to pick from these days in college ball, I just don’t think this is the guy. Would rather it be Venables or Aranda honestly.

He quit 13 games into his lone season with the Atlanta Falcons.

I would say coach I is Jon Gruden but his record is 100-85 not 95-81.

Where did you get that? 57-51 with Tampa and 38-30 with Oakland.
