Yeah it makes no sense to wait until after the bowl.

And the logic of not supporting him make sense, but to me so does the logic of letting him completely crater next year to remove all doubt.

The one source I have says if Sumlin comes back (I was told it is likely) he will be given an ultimatum of having a better season than recent ones (I wasn't told what that standard will be as emotions are flying now).

Is there concern about having a replacement lined up before letting him go?

He's basically a lame duck if he comes back next year. Team will be much worse and rest of SEC should improve

I just can't see them pulling the trigger. 15 million buyout for Sumlin, plus assistants. Then you would have to pay new coaches to come in. I guess you could keep Chavis to avoid paying the largest of the assistant coaches.

I just don't see it. We'll probably have to suck it up for next year.

I agree with you. I think once last night wears off the desire to make a move will go away

I would set the table as follows:

Minimum of 6 wins in conference play.

No more than 1 home loss and that one loss would have to be Alabama.

Minimum of 10 regular season wins.

I fully understand why y'all hate LSU fans.

I hate them.

Are you an OM or LSU grad, I can't figure it out? Or are you just a troll?

I've heard it twice now that we are reaching out to that LSU assistant Orgeron let go. Dale Peveto.

Obviously an awesome recruiter. Will definitely help from that standpoint, I think especially with your LBs.

But watch out for whichever position group you have him coach. Our ST went to absolute shite once he took over.

He would probably be put coaching linebackers, to which Chief obviously keeps a tight reign. I see the error for his frickups minimized there and we need the recruiting assistant in the worst way right now

Any word on when we will terminate Aaron Moorehead? That's all I really care about at the moment.

I wanted to replace Moorehead and McKinney at the beginning of the year.

Moorehead will probably get bailed out by this year's WR haul.
