The base page is not, but it appears the login page is.

However, my point about the account lockout policy still stands.

Anyone with a brute force capability could probably crack any of our passwords easily within 6 hours (256 ascii inputs ^ 16 characters max)

All I got out of your initial point was you were offering yourself up as the fall guy to police if anything happens.

Why anybody would want to hack usernames/passwords on a sports message board or be concerned that this might happen is beyond me.

I'm not the only one who has expressed concerns about their security standards. At least 3 posters on junction were BANNED on texags because they questioned the security standards in the wake of the whole Rojo stupidity and the 2 posters who had to back off due to the AD sniffing for leaks.

Why would anyone want to hack texags? Why did they hack Target? To steal metadata.

All they have to do is set accounts to lock out after 3 consecutive failed attempts.

Did you put in your personal info and cc info to pay for a premium acct? If so that alone can net someone a nice large bone. I wouldn't know anything about that kinda stuff, just sayin

It's not hard to learn. But highly illegal to do. I'm sure if someone stole data, TexAgs would be liable for being so stupid with their security. I, for one, have used my CC info at least once on that site. If TA is like every other company that stores costumer data, my old CC # would be compromised.

The real effective stuff (ECC-Certified Ethical Hacker) isn't easy and the test ($500) is not cheap.

Guys like him eventually piss off the wrong person and the results aren't favorable.

Pretty cheap if your intentions are the wrong ones.

An effective identity thief isn't going to hack your cc information just to use it. The intent is to use that to get the rest of your information, including your ssn.

I wanted to hit a big lick, your cc is minor, you'd identity is gold.
