Sorry man, try out the J Cody's BBQ for sure. You definitely need to go eat at Buppy's before you leave. It is in Bryan across Texas Ave. from Shammy's carwash, and it's only open for lunch. Home cooked meals, buffet style. Go on Wednesdays for the friend pork chops, you won't be dissapointed.

If no one's mentioned it, Stover Bros in Bryan is the best place for burgers in town. It's one of my favorite burger places period. I also get a lot of my meat from Readfield's, they have really great steaks there.

I'm a huge J Cody's fan. They do the best job with an average cut of beef for a steak I have ever had at a restaurant. Great seasoning and mesquite grill flavor. They also have excellent ribs (brisket is average) and the veggie bar is nails.

Other "bucket list" items for BCS:

Bush Library
Bonfire Memorial
Standing next to the cannon on the Quad right before Stepoff and having the band march by.
Midnight Yell
Texas Reds Festival

Pigimus, did you make it to Chilifest in Snook? I think the concert is held every year around April or so.

Going there, I felt like I was transported 20 years into the past and the music festival seemed to be a Woodstock of sorts for the Texas Country music scene.

This one is definitely on the list too. People seem to have too much fun there to not check it out.
