If Ags come out throwing the ball and not try to force the run we have a decent shot. Let’s back them off the ball and run the ball sparingly.

The only way LSU is scoring 45 to 50+ points is if our offense absolutely sucks. We don’t have a running game but we can pass the ball and Mond can scramble/run. Let’s just own where we are offensively this year and roll with our strength from the beginning to end of the game.

I’m tired of watching wasted running plays that put us in 2nd or 3rd and long. Our line can’t handle the defensive pressure/blitzing in obvious passing situations. They just can’t. Let’s come out pass first and pass oriented from the first series and quit trying to pretend we are balanced. We are not.

You are optimistic. That's good. Good thing is it is the last regular season game and there is a bowl game and then recruiting and then next year.

I think your better path is just to play solid, mistake free football on both sides. We’re obviously phenomenal on offense and while the defense isn’t great, it’s good in spots. The thing with LSU is we will have. 15-20 minute stretch where we play really sloppy football. You need to do enough to hang around and when we hit that lull you need to make us pay. It can be done but an uphill battle in BR on Burrow’s senior night. Stadium will be lit.

Agreed.

I think it's become a little trendy to bag on LSU's defense, but I'm not buying it. That's a game-changing defense that usually gets the job done when it has to. They don't have to be pitching shutouts for it to be imperative for us to show them appropriate fear.

We just really miss White and all the intangibles he brought. Factor in losing Divinity and it takes some edge off the pass rush.

playmakers up front like Lawrence, Chaisson, Logan, Shelvin but no real dominant force like we’ve had in the past such as Dorsey, Spears, Brockers etc

Our DBs are still good and we’re relatively healthy (outside of Delpit who should play) this year. The matchups with the WRs are still very intriguing. Hopefully Vincent doesn’t have to cover Rogers too much this szn

Y’all will have some success running the ball especially if its close in the second half. I know that goes along with Jimbo sticking with the run.

Our D isn’t good by our standards as a whole, but they just need to make key plays which they’ve done a good job of all year. We just want to see a complete game.

The vegas line doesn’t surprise me because i felt it’d be similar to our lines vs UF and AU

He’s practicing but won’t be eligible unless we get to the playoff final

You don't have to worry about Rogers. If the Georgia game was any indication, he'll be called for OPI if he touches the ball.

All depends on the O line play. But I expect the game plan to be similar to the UGA game, and hope that the O line can actually run block against LSU.

We have to drain the clock if we want to stay in the game with a chance to do damage in the second half.

Totally agree. It would be a mistake to try to get into a shootout. LSU is definitely more geared for a shootout with this 2019 offense. Maybe they are more susceptible against a grind the clock opponent.

I think we’ll make a game of it until the 4th. Then the more talented team will pull away. LSU will have to make a lot of uncharacteristic mistakes on offense for us to really take it in BR

Not advocating a shoot out with LSU. Far from that. I want us to play ball control. Can be done with a pass oriented strategy. No huddle, snap the ball with 2-3 seconds left on the snap clock, keep the LSU defense on the field as much as possible and shorten the game.

Not sure where shootout was implied. Didn’t mean that. We definitely can’t get into a shoot out with LSU and we shouldn’t try.

I see. Throw to set up the run. Yeah, that could work.
