Depends. I work in the Pearl district, which is a great place to live if you have a trust fund, trophy wife, and a shitty little dog. Pioneer district is full of tourists and offices. Old Town is great if you're a tweaker or street punk. My suggestion is if you want to live downtown, try to find a place near PSU (south of downtown). Outside of downtown, Most people try to move Inner SE, which is overpriced and competitive. My GF works at a school in North Portland, which is pretty nice and gentrifying. I live in Beaverton however (suburb to the West over the hill), because I'm cheap and refuse to pay high rent. The commute isn't terrible though, as the MAX (light rail) is probably the best public transport system in the country.

If I had a bit more money, I'd try to move to the east side off of Mississippi or Alberta. Some nice bars and restaurants out there within stumbling distance.

Yeah, Tualatin is a suburb to the south. It's not bad, but I think Beaverton is probably a bit better. Studio will run you $1000-$1300 depending on quality downtown, sounds about right. I wouldn't bother with bringing a truck if you live downtown. It will probably cost you near $300 a month for it to sit there. I have a 650 sq ft 1/1 in Beaverton that runs ~$900 a month. Pretty much Austin prices out here.

Yeah, that might work. Try to stay to the south tho, old town/china town is reallllly shitty. I forgot to mention, Goose Hollow is really cool as well and not too pricey. I'd check that out as well (SW downtown, south of Providence Park).

For sure, hit me up, always down to drink some beers with Aggies. I know a couple up here and that there's some cabal of an Aggie club, but I haven't infiltrated it yet

I've got a vested interest in Washington Football this year as our Headquarters Company First Sergeant's son is a freshman DE for them this season. He was the #1 player in the State of Washington according to 247 Sports for 2015.

We'll keep an eye on him. That's a great school.

Hey Circus, why is "logjamming" allowed to have a username obviously about the bonfire tragedy, I don't think "hurricaneleveedamage" would be allowed? I suspect he's a tu fan posing on here. Wouldn't hurt to do an alter check on him either. Thanks

I'm thinking Circus took action

logjamming hasn't posted since I asked Circus about him. I hope he is permanently gone.

A couple Texaggers moved up there and found a pretty active Aggie club. Sounds like a decent group.

Anybody else think Ryan tannehill is about to have a breakout year? Because I do. He's been sharp in the limited preseason games. If the line can finally give him some time I expect a really good season from him.

It's also nice to see Bob Griffins career and tannehills heading in opposite directions. May that trend continue.

Tannehill had a decent ear last year, but he's really worked on his deep ball.

The issue is, he could have a probowl season and still miss the playoffs and people are going to judge him by what the Dolphins do.
