I dont see Briles getting fired. Even if an internal investigation is done and something is found they will pay someone to take the heat in order to keep Briles.

Exactly. And Briles could have walked on it. But instead he used someone else's name and dropped it in Chris Petersen's lap. I'm flabbergasted he would do that because how can Petersen not respond? Now it's a guy with no reason to lie vs a guy with every reason to lie.

You may think that's only public opinion and Baylor hopes it stays that way. But there are going to be investigations into this and Briles has opened himself up personally to a civil suit.

Really? you can't think of a single reason why Peterson, who Briles claimed failed to tell him about some obviously pertinent information, would want claim that he totally told Briles everything?

One of these guys is lying, Briles is looking real bad, but you're an idiot if you think Peterson has no reason to lie if he had failed to tell Briles what a bad egg he was getting.

If Peterson is the kind of scumbag that would fail to tell Briles the Boise stuff, he is the kind of scumbag who would also falsely claim Briles was informed.
