I will say this Ags. When I left cstat for the summer I couldn't wait to get out. Maybe it was just the stress of school, but damn I flew out of there thinking my beloved Cola, SC would provide a much needed break. But I'll tell you this, Columbia is my city... but it didn't take long for me to miss Aggieland. I already can't wait to get back.

Good to know it grew on you. Out of curiosity as a less-traveled-than-I'd-like Texan, are there any major differences between the two places (or any other places you have been)?

I've had a hard time explaining the differences when I get back. What does Texas have?
Cowboy hats, big trucks, guns, etc.
This is all existent in SC. However, it is more prevalent in TX.
There is a difference between country southern and redneck southern. Country southern is more Texan. Neither is an insult, but there are differences.

Dammit, we told you to pack disinfectant before you traveled out west, man! Now look at you
Just be careful that garnet blood of yours doesn't start turning maroon

Nah, I hear ya
Texas really kind of is its own thing. Influenced by a lot of different backgrounds, but together under the Lone Star. Has a way of growing on ya if you stay too long.

So I was watching that thing on the SECN about johnnys Heisman year. I've said it before and I'll say it again, johnnys TD toss to Malcolm may be the worst great throw I have ever seen

Still blows my mind that he'll only be a soph this year
Indeed! That's what I most look forward to over the next few years. Nothing gets the home crowd worked up more than good defense and big plays, and I think we'll have the potential for both.
