True story: I'm moving back to Texas the week after we play LSU. If we win I might just stay in Louisiana a little while longer

So many questions. If it all come together, I think we could go 9-4 after bowl win.

I'm going to set the bar lower at 7-6 after bowl win.

Can't go to a bowl with 6-6 if 2 of those wins are SCSU and SHSU.

Only way to 7-6 is a bowl loss.

I always think its silly to predict a bowl win any way. First, we have no idea who the opponent is and we have a history of drawing tough teams. Second, despite almost all our bowls being played in Texas we seem to lose most of them

Not true anymore. If there are not enough teams to fill the bowl commitments they are now allowed to take 6-6 teams with two FCS wins. There is a list that goes all the way to 5-7 teams that makes sure every bowl gets enough teams. There are 3 teams banned from bowls this year (PSU, OSU, UNC) with a 4th (UCF) currently appealing a ban. There are 35 bowls with 70 openings. Last year only 74 qualified.

I was originally going to say 5 before the season started, with our only SEC win being Ole Miss. If Arky hadn't taken their epic collapse, and Auburn didn't look so so so so bad, I would still think that. Now I'm going with 7. Mizzou a toss up for 8.

Wins:

SMU
SCSU
OM
Arky
La Tech
SHSU

Losses:
UF
LSU
AU
UA
MSU
MU

Forgive me if I am pessimistic. Yeah, we can beat some of the 'losses', but lets be reasonable here. We're all A&M fans. We've all sat through the past....14 years.
