52 degree launch angle. Thats unheard of for a HR.

Attn Farmer: per your comment re launch angle, got this from Travis Brown on X:
“ So, @JaceLaViolette2’s home run had an exit velocity of 108 mph and a launch angle of 52 degrees. It went 342 feet. In the MLB statcast era (2015+), there has never been a hit fall in at 108 and 52 degrees in an MLB game, let alone a home run. Farthest ball hit at those perimeters was 311 feet.

That’s pretty much accurate. I think there may have been 1 or 2 in a spring training game but that doesn’t really count.

Farmer it’s a big ask but can we get a breakdown of the batting averages so far this season?

been a minute since ive had physics class, but that tells me the NCAA is using heavier balls than MLB.

Not necessarily.
Since statcast started tracking (2015) there have been 484 balls hit with a launch angle between 50 and 55 degrees that traveled at least 300'. The longest went 395' (50 LA) off the bat of Mike Trout for out in Arlington back in 2015. The longest with a greater launch angle than Jace was Chris Johnson in 2015 for 369' @ 54 degrees. Again, for a fly-out.
