Let's step this up a notch: Sumlin meant to tell Tate but was too drunk and forgot.
You guys complain about negative recruiting and then give everyone else all the ammo in the world. And don't give me that Sumlin's the one who caused the problem. Some little deleted tweet would not be an issue unless our fanbase talked about it all over the place, stated wild assumptions as fact, and then cried about our alleged woes.

If he decommits is when it will become negative recruiting material, just like when Allen and Murray transferred that became negative recruiting material. Did the fans cause that too?

He's giving Kevin Sumlin the Billy Kennedy treatment...only there is no amount of 5-star commits in the world that will save Sumlin short of an 11-1 regular season.

Kevin Sumlin doesn't have an ace recruiter to save him like Kennedy does, nor does he have nationally elite players transferring in.
I admire pat's blind loyalty in many ways, but it's just awkwardly sad sometimes. Like that scene in Lion King where Simba tells his dead dad to get up and refuses to believe he's dead.

Why do I get so pissed about this? Because our fans bleed their insecurities everywhere and make it a self fulfilling prophecy. "Look at how much turmoil aggy is in! You should come to Texas instead!" Then all our fans get to point and say "see, told you so!"
A recruit tweeted and deleted some cryptic arse tweet and now we already have a full page about how that obviously means that Sumlin is a liar and our next class is going to be fricked. I'd hate to see what's being posted on TA. You seriously don't think that recruits and other teams' fans don't read this crap and run with it.
Yall need to nut up and stop turning every single thing into the next big aggy sobfest. It literally hurts the football program.

I made a post in another thread that Sumlin needs to have a good year this year or it's time to go. I know you saw it because you responded to the post. You can drop that shtick now. It's completely beside my point that the constant whining hurts the program.

No what hurts the football program is a drunk aggorant arse lacking in basic communication skills. How many times in sumlins tenure have we heard that communication has been the main problem when it comes to missing out on big recruits? Get your butt out of the local pub and skype these kids like the living legend who kicks your arse every year, Nick Saban.

It's similar to your attempts to halt criticism of Kennedy in the past because it's mean to call someone with Parkinson's a bad coach. As if that changes anything regarding the issue at hand.

Apparently I'm not making myself clear. The point is that so many of the things that become huge issues and complaints are completely fabricated. It's not about complaining. I melt as much as anyone when we lose. But you're taking a couple cryptic tweets about loyalty that makes no mention of A&M or a new QB offer and losing your heads based on wild assumptions, and our fans do it all. the. time.
I'm telling you, it's a self fulfilling prophecy and only happens because of our fans' insecurities. You're playing right into other fanbases' perceptions of us.

Texags, Rivals and 247 confirmed the tweets were about Sumlin offering another QB and not telling Martell before I ever made my post. If I gave the impression it was just me drawing a baseless conclusion I apologize.
