I doubt it will hurt recruiting but I'm still blown away that any coach would have not thought better about those slides, and am shocked they weren't photoshopped

Embarrassing

Outside of weight lifters, football coaches are some of the biggest meatheads walking this planet. And that is to be expected, to an extent, based on the nature of their profession. Not surprising at all that they thought it was appropriate.

How often do we hear of a recruit weighing his decision heavily on the opinion of his mother? And that getting the parents on campus is a big deal? The mothers, if made aware of the incident, will not look at Turner and Banks the same as they had previously. They're automatically playing from behind in that department

Edit: You better believe every current and former rival will make parents of common recruits painstakingly aware of this incident

The unfortunate thing about the psychology of recruiting is that you just want to avoid negative messaging.

Positive messages like recruiting momentum and even on field success have very little lasting impact, but negative messages persist.

Does anybody know who the 2-3 "silent" commits were? Assuming Hezekiah was one of them.

The 247 guys put out an article about Jacob Kibodi, Addison Gumbs, Kenneth Murray, Tyree, and Ondario Robinson.

I believe some LSU posters were mentioning that his coaches were stunned by his commitment and were actively working to get him decommitted. Sounded very similar to the Hudson decommitment.

Ratu making some announcement at 2pm PST. Initial thought is that can't be good considering he already announced to us.

Hope I'm wrong

Was my initial thought as well. But kids love the attention, so I could see him recommitting.

EJ Holland is saying he is hearing that Stephan Zabie has been ruled ineligible by the UIL for the upcoming season. I wonder what that does to his recruitment and other teams interest in him?
